MCCA Playgrounds Closed

In our continued effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus, MCCA is closing all playgrounds today. We are following the lead of our surrounding cities (including Mill Creek and Everett) and Snohomish County. Our top priority is doing everything we can to keep our residents safe.

MCCA staff cannot keep the playground equipment sanitized. We have noticed that after Mill Creek and surrounding cities closed their playgrounds, the number of visitors to some of our playgrounds increased.

Like you, we hope that we will be able to return to life as usual sooner rather than later. We are working to do everything we can during this 2 week “Stay Home” order to work toward the goal of flattening the curve.

We continue to monitor the situation, and look forward to re-opening the playgrounds as soon as it is safe to do so.
